Our Mission and Motto

 

The purpose of the Aviation Ranger Posse is to assist the Sheriff of Maricopa County in search and rescue operations, provide logistical support to all Sheriff’s Posse’s in law enforcement, search and rescue operations, and any operation consistent with our mission capabilities, as well as contribute to the maintenance of security, peace, order and law in said Maricopa County, and elsewhere when so called on by appropriate authority, and to promote a harmonious working relationship between supported Posse’s, aviation safety and good fellowship. 

 

The motto and pledge of the Aviation Ranger Posse shall be:

"To support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America and the State of Arizona; to abide by the rules and bylaws of the Aviation Ranger Posse; to be loyal members of the Aviation Ranger Posse and to strive to promote its principles and advance its purposes and welfare; to participate as may be required by the Sheriff or the Aviation Ranger Posse in the furtherance of the Sheriff's business and to bring into closer fellowship the individual members of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Aviation Ranger Posse, and all Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse’s."
